How much time will it take each week?

Accepted Answer

Plan for roughly three to four focused hours a week across the 5 weeks: a recorded lesson of around half an hour, the reading around it, and the week's deliverable, which is where most of the value sits. Everything is self-paced within the week, so you can do it in one evening or spread it across several. Deadlines exist to keep the cohort moving together, not to trip you up.

Do I earn CPE credit?

Yes. This programme is eligible for approximately 12 CPE credit hours. On completion, your certificate is issued together with a CPE record stating the hours earned and the basis for them, which you self-report to your professional body; most participants log them with ISACA or (ISC)². The record stays available in your account whenever an audit asks for evidence.

What is the certificate, and can I verify it?

Every HackXium certificate carries a unique serial number and its own public verification page. Share the link on LinkedIn or attach it to a CV, and anyone, your board, a recruiter, a regulator, can confirm in seconds that it is genuine, what it was awarded for, and when, without ever contacting us. If a certificate is ever revoked, the verification page says so, which is exactly why the credential holds its value.

Can I change my cohort after enrolling?

Yes. Ask at least 7 days before your cohort starts and we will transfer your seat to a later cohort of the same programme free of charge. Separately, UK consumer law gives you a 14-day cooling-off period from purchase, which ends early once your cohort begins and you access the materials. The precise terms are in our Terms of Service, written in plain English.

What is the refund position?

Within 14 days of purchase and before your cohort begins, you can cancel for a full refund under the cooling-off terms. Once the cohort starts and you have accessed the materials, fees become non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, though the free transfer to a later cohort remains available if you ask 7 days ahead. Is payment secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Checkout is handled by an accredited external payment processor over an encrypted connection; your card details go directly to them and never touch our servers. Your seat is confirmed the moment payment clears, and a receipt arrives by email. If anything goes wrong mid-payment, nothing is charged and your seat is simply released.

What do I need before I start?

A laptop, a modern browser and the weekly hours, that is all. Everything runs in the browser with nothing to install. There is no coding prerequisite unless the programme says otherwise; where a track is technical, the audience line above says so plainly.

What if I cannot attend a live session?

Accepted Answer

Nothing is lost. The programme is built to be completed self-paced, and where a cohort runs a live element, such as a facilitated exercise, it is recorded and shared with every participant. Join links and timings go out through cohort announcements well in advance, so you can plan around your calendar.

How does my team enrol?

For multiple seats or a private cohort for your institution, write to hack@xiumlabs.com and we will arrange invoicing and group enrolment directly. Cohorts are capped at 30 seats so the room stays useful, which means team bookings are best made early.
